Description 
 
Cambodia is a humidity country, which has two seasons, raining season and dry season. However, the country has been polluted, and the climate has gone worst day by day due to different type of pollutions. In this case, air pollution is one of a serious problem that has brought the day hotter and hotter, and the country is becoming warm throughout the year. Temperature can raise up to nearly 40 degrees Celsius, people can’t even get outside the building during noon.  
 
The increasing of population is a main cause of this. Following by population growth, number of the building is growing as well, and the use of transportations and mechanical stuffs is increasing, so the pollution is increasing too. And it feedbacks with a serious climate problem. 
 
These are points that make people think about environment. We can see that there are some houses that were designed thinking about the environment, and how to take advantages from it. Design using natural lighting, ventilations and recycle material and so on, were significant part of Architectural design that is called sustainable design.  
 
As a young generation designer, we hope to improve a design that is response to the environment. So, we are going to build a house of sustainability, which can provide a comfort living and also to prevent the environmental problems. The house is using almost zero percent of energy, ventilation and lighting are gabbed from nature. Regarding this, choosing a smart site will give the building a better design, so that we chose a land that located along Mekong road, next to Mekong River. So, there will be fresh air and best view to start our design.

Concept 
 
This house design in inspired from Khmer traditional house style by raising up the house from ground to allow ventilation across and make the house with good day-light and fresh. Many open space such as: open ground floor and big windows.
